Congratulations to our Oakdale FFA judging teams! The teams traveled to Davis where they participated in livestock judging. Despite the very cold, rainy weather, the students did very well judging the pens of animals and all had a great time!

There will be a MAC meeting on March 21st at 6 p.m. at the Valley Home school library.

Today Wednesday, March 7th is a minimum day for our Valley Home students! They will be released at 12:30 p.m. After school program remains the same!

This Friday March 9th, our Valley Home Hawks basketball teams will be playing Paradise School here in Valley Home! The games will start at 11 a.m., please come out and support your Valley Home Hawks. Go Hawks!

We have received word that Justin Perez received the prestigious Student of the Month award at Valley Home School! We join proud parents Jenn and Shawn Perez in congratulating Justin on a job well done. Keep up the good work Justin!

Our Valley Home School Board will meet on Tuesday, March 13th at 6 p.m. in the after school room!

This coming Tuesday, March 13th our Valley Home 4-H will meet at the Baptist Church at 7 p.m. We send a special thank you to Jeanette and Ray Weaver, on their ongoing archery project. So happy you are feeling better Jeanette!

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family of Hector Nicolai Eriksen. Mr. Eriksen was born on May 1st, 1938 in the Oakdale Hospital on Laurel Avenue, and passed away on February 21st, 2018. He was part of a huge extended family and was very involved with all family activities. He is survived by his loving wife Rose Mary. Services were held this past Saturday.
