Valley Home News 12-29-21

As 2021 comes to a close, we welcome in 2022! As is our New Year’s tradition within our home, each New Year’s Eve we celebrate with family; some years we are blessed with special friends dropping in to help celebrate! We are grateful for those who are able to gather. It’s usually pretty quiet here in Valley Home … until midnight. Let the celebration begin! For me, midnight also means it’s grandson Cooper’s birthday! This year marks the 15th year we have celebrated this amazing, hard-working young man. Delicious food, sparkling cider, games and the joy of being together will make for a very special evening. For many reasons, I am especially grateful this year to have my grandchildren, family and many friends near.

I am so sorry for those who have suffered so much this year. I am praying God will bring peace to your broken hearts.

As we begin a New Year, I would like to say a very special “Thank You” to our First Responders. These dedicated men and women are selfless in their service to our communities. They work long hours, many face danger daily, they give up precious time with their families, their hearts are made of gold ... their hands are made of steel ... they carry the weight of caring for all of us on their shoulders. Let us pray for their safety and for strength for each of them in the coming year. God Bless each of our First Responders and all those they serve!

We wish for each of you a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year in 2022!
