Winnie Mullins

There is much excitement in Valley Home as it’s time for our Valley Home Fall Harvest Festival, scheduled for Saturday, October 25th. I have shared with you much of the fun we will have together.

I believe truly the most important part of this special evening will be your amazing support for our local teen, Jett Trunnell. As many of you know, Jett is in a very hard battle against a very aggressive cancer. Several of you have supported Jett in the past and continue to help to support him. Thank you to each of you; your monetary support helps get Jett back and forth to his cancer treatments. Your prayers help in so many ways. We need to continue to support Jett. Although I need to have a count of needed supplies for Jett’s Tri Tip Dinner at the festival on Saturday, I will be glad to continue taking orders for the dinner through Friday, October 24th. We need to do everything we can to raise funds and help Jett. Remember any donation, small or large, will make a difference to Jett and his family. For those who still would like to order a dinner or donate to Jett, please call or text me, Winnie, at 209-985-5233 … together we can make a difference in Jett’s life.

Please join us in Valley Home this Saturday evening for our Fall Harvest Festival from 6:30pm until 9pm at the school.

Come enjoy live music, Bingo, cowboy roping, yummy foods, a silent auction, class baskets, face painting, The Sweet Shoppe, honey, cotton candy, popcorn, sno cones, drinks and more. There will also be a petting zoo, a chance to meet our local first responders, plus Chris Rocha Trucking, Verdegaal Ag and much more.

At 7:30pm our Haunted Hayride will start rolling. Prepare yourself; it’s going to be a scary journey on the path out back …

One more thing, this fun evening will happen, rain or shine. I would like to offer a huge “Thank You” to all who have helped in any way to make this special night happen and especially to those who have bought dinners or donated to Jett.
