A life well lived ... Valley Home is a thankful community. We are especially grateful to those who serve and protect us. We are thankful for each of our first responders, all who come to our aid in a split second. So many of us have been the recipients of their knowledge, skills, and tremendous caring hearts! There is no way possible we could repay them for what they do for us. We are so grateful to each of them! One of my most important goals this year will continue to be, to help teach my grandchildren and the young people I come in contact with the importance of giving respect and showing respect to those who put their lives on the line every day for each of us. We are surrounded by many wonderful people who share this goal. One of our greatest endeavors in life is showing respect for our law enforcement, fire service, and our military! These are the people who put their lives on the line and use their incredible skills every day for us! As we end 2018 and begin 2019, we remember our fallen heroes, we honor and pay our respects to those who have given their lives, and have sacrificed everything for us. We pay tribute today to Newman Police Officer Corporal Ronil Singh who lost his life while defending his community. He made the ultimate sacrifice. Please remember Corporal Ronil Singh’s family as they struggle to cope with a life without this brave man. Corporal Singh will be remembered for his love of family, including his law enforcement family, his friends, and his love for his community. We honor, respect, and will never forget the life of Corporal Ronil Singh. All are invited to attend funeral services for Corporal Singh on Saturday, January 5th at 10 a.m., Cross Point Community Church, 1301 12th Street, Modesto ... to be followed by Honor Guard Procession to Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson. All are welcome, let us never forget.
