With everything from games to music, a petting zoo and a haunted hayride, there were activities for all to enjoy at the annual Valley Home Harvest Festival on Saturday evening, Oct. 24. Among the festivities, young Aileen Velasquez shared a smile with Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Deputy Brandon Silva and his K9 partner Hondo; kids enjoyed chowing down in the pie eating contest, and there were plenty of items to choose from at the prize table after collecting tickets for winning the carnival-style games. Live music, a silent auction, sweet treats and more were part of the evening.
