Several horse saddles were taken from an Oakdale business over this past weekend.

On Sunday, Sept. 9 shortly after 9 a.m., Oakdale Police received a call of a broken front window at a downtown business. Officers responded to the Diamond K Saddlery at 146 N. Yosemite Ave. When officers arrived on scene they confirmed the front window was broken out and searched the business and area for suspects. No suspects were located at the time of the search. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between Sept. 8 at 4 p.m. and Sept. 9 at 8:30 a.m.

It appears the suspects broke out the front window of the business and were able to remove several horse saddles prior to police being alerted and arriving. The stolen saddles were described as a Bob’s Custom Wade, Diamond K Saddlery Wade and an American Saddlery Pleasure Saddle with a buck stitched seat. The saddles were valued at several thousands of dollars.
