Kicking off the Stanislaus County Fair on Friday evening, July 10, country music superstar Clint Black was on the Modelo Variety Free Stage, backed by his band and performing some of his hit songs and crowd favorites. The 10-day run of the fair at the Turlock fairgrounds continues through Sunday, July 19 with amusement rides and games, exhibits, music, specialty acts, plenty of fair food, events in the FoodMaxx arena and more. Black released his first album in 1989 and has more than a dozen number one country hits to his credit.
