Like he did for much of his football career at Oakdale High School, Class of 2026 graduate Richard Flores makes the defenders miss as he keeps his eyes on the field ahead and looks to make a gain during the annual Lions All-Star game, hosted on June 20 at Tracy High School. He suited up for the South squad, which fell by a final of 34-14 to the North. South teams were made up of players from Modesto to Merced while the North team featured players primarily from Escalon, Stockton area schools and the Mother Lode. In the inaugural flag football all-star contest, the North team was a 44-6 winner over the South.
