We already know that Fitbit can track ones physical activity, but recently, it also served as an obscure pregnancy test.

A man recently noticed the device showing that his wife had logged 10 hours in the fat burning zone which he thought impossible due to her activity level and had a consistently high heart rate, according to Reddit.

I'm not sure if something is wrong with the sensor, Reddit user YoungPTone wrote last week. Is there a way to reset or recalibrate the device? Id like to try that before I contact customer service about a possible replacement.

After posting the inquiry, another Reddit user began questioning whether his wife had experienced something stressful or if she was pregnant.

According to Reddit, YoungPTone is, in fact, going to be a father.

This is real, the fear is real, the excitement is very real! I am a regular guy who was just looking for the communities help with his wife's technology issue (we've all been there, right?), he wrote. Little did I know, I got a lot more than I bargained for! Now I'm a regular guy who is preparing to have his first child brought into the world, God willing, in October 2016.

The soon-to-be-father, David Trinidad, told Mashable he and his wife hoped to start a family this year, but he was surprised it happened so soon.

Trinidad told BBC Radio he was aware of some of the common symptoms of early pregnancy, but that he didn't know an elevated heart rate was one of them. When the Reddit user Thatwasunpleasant suggested the pregnancy possibility, Trinidad felt his own heartbeat pick up.

Though he didnt check his own heart rate on his Fitbit, he told BBC Radio he used the old fashioned method of feeling like his heart was coming out of his chest.
