Oakdale Women’s Club (OWC) will have a luncheon meeting and program on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club, 243 N. Stearns Road, Oakdale.

The luncheon starts at noon, followed by the special program featuring the Oakdale Police K-9 Unit. Cost is $16 per person, including the luncheon and program.

A not-for-profit organization, the women of the OWC have a long history of engaging in both civic and charitable activities. One of the most recent was their purchase of a protective garment for one of Oakdale’s Police K-9 Units. This specially-trained dog, and its handler, are the honored guests of the OWC’s Special Event luncheon.
