Music, community, and a message of peace will come together on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 242 N. First Ave., Oakdale, during “Play Music on the Porch, Play for Peace.”
This international event invites local musicians, families, friends, and community members to gather, share music, and celebrate the simple power of coming together. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or simply enjoy listening, everyone is welcome.
Local organizers said that the Play Music on the Porch, Play for Peace initiative is about creating connection through music and “reminding our community that peace can begin with something as simple as sharing a song with our neighbors.”
