Members of the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Protection District Board will meet for a regular session on Thursday, June 8 and the meeting is scheduled to include the swearing in of new Fire Chief Rick Weigele.

Scheduled for 6 p.m. at Station 26, in the meeting room at 3318 Topeka St., Riverbank, the meeting will begin with presentations including recognition for a trio of firefighters, the retirement of Captain Rick Bachman and the Swearing In of Chief Weigele, with a reception to follow.

Returning to open session at 6:40 p.m., the board will then also handle routine business including acceptance of warrants, financial reports and a Mountain Valley EMS Agency Contract. The board will also consider adoption of the preliminary budget for fiscal year 2017-18 and hear a number of committee reports.
