Story Time Sessions will continue throughout March.

WIGGLE WORMS every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Enjoy stories, music, dancing, rhythm activities, and fingerplay at this special program perfect for ages up to 3 and their caregivers. (25-30 minutes)

PRESCHOOL STORY TIME is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Books, flannelboard stories, fingerplay, and music for preschoolers, ages 3-6, and caregivers. (30 min.)

Don’t miss the annual book sale sponsored by The Friends of the Oakdale Library. It will be held at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, March 8-10.

“Cover to Cover Reading Challenge” sponsored by In-N-Out Burger will be March 5 through April 16. Pick up a reading log and track your reading to get a free hamburger or cheeseburger.

Throughout March, take a look around the children’s library and try to find the “Cat’s Hat” from the famous Dr. Seuss book. You could win a prize weekly.

Our Children’s Craft will celebrate Spring by creating Tissue Paper Butterflies. The craft will begin at 3:30 p.m. on March 2.

LEGO DAYS this month are Tuesday, March 8, and Monday, March 21. Both will begin at 3:30 p.m. Kids can unleash their awesome creativity and we will display these masterpieces in the Library.

Teens and Adults: Please join in “Creative Fine-point Coloring.” Intricate patterns will be provided or color “outside the lines” with your own ideas. This craft begins at 3:30 p.m. on March 9.

WEE MOVE AND PLAY program, featuring unstructured imaginative play for little ones, 5 and under, will be March 14, at 11 a.m.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) Dia Book Club will listen to a book and do an activity full of “Possibilities!” Join in for fun and learning on March 16 at 3:30 p.m. This is family-centered, geared to Grades 1-5.

The Library Book Club will be reading “Elsewhere” and meeting to discuss and share on Tuesday, March 22, at 11:30 a.m. Sign out your copy at the Library.

Prepare to be amazed and dazzled when Magician Shawn Durham performs on March 23, at 4 p.m. Seating is limited, free tickets available one hour before the show.
