Shoppers looking for unique home décor or holiday treats won’t need to travel far as the Funky Flea Market teams with Bloomingcamp Ranch for a “Fall into Christmas” event. The event will be hosted at the ranch on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Bloomingcamp Ranch is located at 10528 Highway 120 in east Oakdale. The event is open to the public.

Funky Flea Market founder, Lisa McDaniel-Norris hosted the first event at her family home in late summer. The event attracted over 20 vendors and close to 4,000 shoppers. The Boutique type shopping experience features vendors offering home and garden décor, furniture, as well as fall and Christmas items.

“It’s all about the venue,” McDaniel-Norris said of her partnership with Bloomingcamp’s, noting the move offers more space allowing more unique vendors to attend.

“Everybody’s space reflects that of a boutique,” she said.

Though at a smaller site, the initial market during the summer went over well.

“Everyone left happy,” she said of the vendors and shoppers. McDaniel-Norris shared she is also selective on vendor types, ensuring the event has a specific focus or theme for that type of shopper.
