Funeral arrangements have been finalized for a pair of Fresno Area CHP Officers who died in the line of duty last week.

On Feb. 17, 2014 at approximately 6:07 a.m., Officers Juan Gonzalez and Brian Law were traveling southbound on State Route 99. The officers were responding to a traffic collision on SR 99 near Sierra Avenue. While approaching the scene, the unit was involved in a collision. As a result of the collision both officers were fatally injured.

The funeral is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. at the Save Mart Center, 2650 E. Shaw Ave., Fresno.

Graveside memorial services for the officers will take place immediately following the funeral. Officer Brian Law’s graveside memorial will be at Clovis Cemetery District, 305 N. Villa Ave., Clovis. The graveside memorial for Officer Juan Gonzalez will be at the North Tulare Public Cemetery, 4572 N. J. St., Tulare.
