Teresa Hammond/The Leader

Proving to be good sports, top photo, three student volunteers marvel at the Madagascar Screeching Cockroaches placed on their shirts during Magnolia Elementary School’s recent Reptile Show. Cruzin’ Critters travels to varying venues including schools, educating and sharing a variety of rescued critters. An alligator was one of many exotic reptiles the students were able to encounter up close and personal during the Reptile Show hosted by the school’s Parent Teacher Club. The show was a reward for a couple dozen Jog-a-Thon participants, but opened to the student body and their families for a nominal fee.
