Phase two of the C Street reconstruction project in Oakdale is due to begin Wednesday, Aug. 2 and run through the end of November.
Oakdale city officials sent out a notice on Tuesday regarding the imminent start of the next phase in the project, which will see the road closed to thru traffic as McFadden Construction, Inc. works on the reconstruction and paving of C Street. The closure will stretch from North Yosemite Avenue to North Sixth Avenue along C Street, with detours in place around the impacted area. There also will be no parking on the street during the construction period.
The project is scheduled to run through Nov. 29.
The notice from the city noted that construction will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 pm.
During the project, C Street from Yosemite to North Sixth will have limited access and at times be closed entirely. Access to residents in the area will be maintained. Thru traffic is advised to use alternate routes.
