American Red Cross officials have announced the cancellation of the blood drive originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Gene Bianchi Community Center in Oakdale.

Officials said there is a drive planned at Oakdale High School, 739 W. G St., on Friday, Feb. 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Donors can also visit an upcoming collection set in Escalon on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Christian Reformed Church at 2203 California St., from 1:15 p.m. to 7 p.m., or visit one of the local blood drive centers.

Those centers are open a variety of days and hours throughout the week. Locally, donors can schedule visits at Red Cross Donation Centers in Modesto, 1900 W. Orangeburg Ave.; in Stockton, 2888 W. March Lane; and in Sonora, 850 Sanguinetti Lane.
