Just around the corner, all are encouraged to get tickets and enjoy the Oakdale Garden Club’s Autumn Garden Tour, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and attendees will have the opportunity to tour five local gardens.

Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at The Shoppe, 110 N. Third Ave., Oakdale; Story Books and Toys, 150 S. Second Ave., Oakdale; Westurf Nursery in Modesto; Ace Hardware in Oakdale; Morris Nursery in Riverbank; Park Green House in Ripon; The Greenery in Turlock; and from any Oakdale Garden Club member.

The first two gardens on the tour are off Atlas Road in East Oakdale; with one on Poppy Hills Drive and the second on St. Andrews Drive.

Garden number three on the tour is in town, on Laurel Avenue, while the fourth and fifth stops take you outside of town once again, turning on to Rodden Road at the Rodden and River intersection at Highway 120. Once on Rodden, the gardens are both on North Hills Court, off Oak View Drive.

There will also be silent auction items up for bid and attendees can take a chance on a number of opportunity drawings.
