On October 6th, a Sunday, there will be a flu shot clinic in the Ferry, free if you have insurance, $29 otherwise. This is also a breakfast Sunday.

On Sunday, September 22nd there will be a special breakfast in the Ferry at the I. O.O.F. Hall to benefit the 7th and 8th graders trip to Washington, D.C. The cost is $5 for ham, eggs, pancakes, juice and drink. Please come out and support the Junior High students.

At the meeting of the Knights Ferry School Board, they approved the revised school calendar for the year, approved the Strategic Plan, approved the Unaudited Actuals, approved the Gann Limit Resolution and approved the sufficiency of instructional materials. Superintendent Griffiths told of a new 10-megabyte line to come to the school for faster Internet connections.

Get well wishes go out to Alexis Boyajian, who had her tonsils out.

Knights Ferry Garden Club met and formulated plans for making Pumpkin Rolls.

Movie night will be September 28th at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse. The film is “Racing Stripes”.
