Jim and Diane Boyer and grandson Nick traveled to Montana to visit son Stuart and his wife Rose. On the way they stopped in Winnemucca, Nevada for the night. While checking into the hotel, Kaitlin Barber (former KFS student of Diane’s) came up to them to say hello.

She is staying at the hotel as she has a job working in a mining operation. What a small world! They went to Yellowstone where it snowed on them the first day. Nick wanted to see buffalo and they saw lots of them! Nick also got to see a mama black bear and two cubs. Jim and Diane took Nick to a Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center where there were hands on displays.
On the way to Montana, they stopped in Virginia City, just like Nevada’s town of the same name, a tourist mining town. Stuart lives in Polson, Montana, near Missoula. He has a nice church there. All had a good visit. On the way home the Boyers stopped at the Craters of the Moon National Monument in Idaho and saw all the weird lava formations. It was a good trip!
