Bernard and Teri Foster and daughter Bridgette have returned from spending some time in England. Bridgette attended the British Education Teaching and Technology conference. They stayed at a Manor House, Berrington Court in Somerset.
While there they participated in a polo match and watched a fox hunt.

The Knights Ferry Community Church will hold Lenten Soup Suppers starting February 22 and continuing on Wednesdays until Easter.

The salmon eggs have arrived at the Army Corp building and should hatch in a few weeks.

Knights Ferry School held their second quarter Renaissance Assembly last week. Getting goodies for a perfect 4.0 GPA were: Rilyn Cassaretto, Paris Thompson, Jenna Armario, Jocelyn Burke, Julia Nilsson, Ray Patton, Shawn Spani, Shaela Borba, Moriah Loomis, Harrison Ault and Kaeli Sturtevant. Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Will Johnson, son of Pat Pfefferle, will be getting married in July to Anna Steel in St. Louis, Missouri. Anna is also in the Coast Guard.

Congratulations Alexis Boyajian for collecting 100 Box Tops for Education for the 100 days of school.

Also at the Renaissance Assembly, those students with a 3.0 to 3.9 GPA were honored: Alex Arias, Sophia Schwandt, Braden Sousa, Brendan Thompson, Jazzlynn Velasquez, Mikali Willis, Matthew Wolf, Tyden Baker, Brooks Bonde, Eden Cassinetto, Wyatt Dickens, Angel Limon, Austin Santillo, Alyssa Sisco, Dayne Sturtevant, Kaeli Sweet, Madeline Freitas, Aleesha Harden, Manny Loomis, Kylee Sisco, Elise Seeds, Marina Braaton, Erick Ramirez and Cleo Wilson.

At the Knights Ferry Community Club meeting, the plans were finalized for the spaghetti dinner March 24th. Members (or anyone) need to help by getting raffle prizes.
Also at the meeting Stacey Farhat was introduced as a new member. She will be marrying our local firefighter, Rob Hoyer. She was warmly welcomed.

Knights Ferry School has received the quarterly check from Save Mart SHARES card program and this time it was $793.64.
This is a very painless way to earn extra money for the school, just swipe your card and the school gets 3 percent of your purchase.
Tickets are now on sale for the Knights Ferry Silent/Live Auction and dinner.
Dinner included New York steak, baked potato, salad, fruit, bread, dessert and wine for a $30.00 ticket purchased in advance, $35.00 at the door.
