At the MAC meeting last Thursday there was a lot of catching up on info from the county due to the MAC not meeting in November and December. The remodel plans for the River’s Edge were discussed because the MAC had two special meetings in November to go over the plans. California Highway patrolman Chuck Leon said the presence of officers would pick up soon. There was a roll over on Orange Blossom Road where a car went through the fence opposite the Lutz property. The Department Chief of Stanislaus Consolidated Fire district discussed the need to close off the road by the firehouse because of people parking and leaving their vehicles while enjoying the river and the firemen cannot get the rescue boat out. Cars can be towed if blocking access. Cars can be towed if blocking driveways also. Oath of Office was given to Scott Wucherer, Carla Doshas and Ric Feichter. Gary Briery presented plans for remodeling his garage.
