Knights Ferry School put on their Christmas program last Thursday. Master of Ceremonies was Jude Krick, Student Body President. The program started out with all grades singing “Rock the Holly.” The Kindergarteners were next on stage singing and acting “Let’s Build a Gingerbread House.” Then the First and Second graders took to the stage for “Blitzen Boogie” featuring Josh Maceira as Blitzen. Pianist Sophia Thompson accompanied singers Dakota Voortman, Emmy Watson and Breanna Banks as they sang “The First Noel.” The KFS Band, under the direction of Natalie Brockman, played “Jingle Bells.” The band this year has grown! The Third and Fourth graders square danced and sang “Coming Down the Chimney.” Mrs. Headrick’s class of Fifth and Sixth graders were into percussion with bells, glockenspiels and bucket drums, playing “Carol of the Drums.” The Junior High took to the stage with a play “Elves’ Impersonator” with Matt Wolf as Elves (an elf Elvis). The school staff sang an original song written by Mrs. Brockman called “Christmas Time is Coming.” All grades sang “A Song of Peace” with Dakota Voortman as soloist. Carols were sung by the audience and then refreshments were served. It was a wonderful evening!
