When you attend breakfast at the monthly Odd Fellows pancake breakfast on Sunday be sure to check out the improvements to the Odd Fellows building! The contracted work is mostly done by local contractors including Bob Muller and Kim Banks!

Thank you to the group of hard-working volunteers who sit on our local Water Board. They orchestrated another leak repair and while they warned us on Facebook there may be a temporary disruption to our water service in town, I did not notice any disruption and I’m at the top of the hill! Our water plant is in serious need of those in the area to step up and help find a better solution to our failing pipeline. Water is important for the families, businesses, and our school and if and when something catastrophic happens to our water system, the whole town will be affected!

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the wedding reception of Caleb Coston and Emma Frazer. Caleb is the great grandson of the late Bill and Evelyn Frias. They were very active community members. Caleb and Emma were married a month ago in Hawaii surrounded by family and close friends and stayed in Hawaii for their honeymoon. Caleb’s parents Jamie and Heidi Coston hosted a beautiful reception for nearly 200 people at the Bianchi Center in Oakdale.
