The 9th annual Zero Party was very well attended, with loads of good food! Celebrating their birthday that ends in zero were (not all attended) Zach De Grood and Ryan Brown, 20 years old, Heather Scott, 30, Monica Gardella Frere, Kasandra Ingram, Kim Banks, Tena Heaton, Christine Fortuny, Soda, and Rob Ingram 40 years old, Paula Stokes, Doug Rocky, Karalyn Ahrenholtz, Jude Wyatt, Liz Holmes, Jewls Rosso, Mike Monschein, Sara Harris, Larry Weaver, Marianne Boyd, Wes Banks and Patti Mack 50 years, Joe Murray, Nancy Ritts, Tom Wright, Gayle Ritts, Richard Mullins, Sharon Page, Patti Albarico, Ray Pojanowski, Sue Bornn and Lia Ardis, 60 years old, Mick Olsen, Jim McCarthy, Patrick Rotelli, Horst Kaiser, Asa Merry, and Nancy Franklin, 70 years old, Elmer Raphael, Carmen Frymire and Virginia Gibson turned 80 and Katyryn Rotelli and Mickie Milan turned 90.

The entertainment for the Zero party was Benny’s Band, a hillbilly looking group that had not much musical talent but lots of fun. The audience took a moment of silence to remember those lost at 9-11 and then there was a red, white and blue dance by Kathy Mangante and Dorothy McKinsey. Highlight of the evening was a take-off on Jeff Dunham’s puppets. First a video of the puppets was shown for those who hadn’t seen the show then the Knights Ferry’s version. Phil Frymire played Bubba J, Ed Fortuny played Walter and Bill Telfair played Achmed. It was hilarious! Then there was a dance by Sara Harris, Dorothy McKinsey, Tracy Griesner, Lisa Frymire and Lori Lutz, accompanied by Benny’s Band. It was quite a show!
