On Thursday night, Rick Maisel was surprised by his friends in the saloon for his 70th birthday! Heather Wright was passing around some tasty hot Hawaiian sandwiches and there was a jar where people could write a little something for the birthday guy. Randy, Mandy, and Charlie played a few tunes while Linda and Chuck poured the drinks!

The rain has been plentiful in town! Thank you Katie Feichter for battling the storm drains, keeping them clear enough to allow the massive amounts of rain water to flow into the drains rather than homes or businesses. I really feel for all the homes on Main Street taking all the extra water from those of us up on the hill.

The General Store has expanded their menu serving burgers and deli sandwiches along with their soups, and delicious fried foods! On Friday, which is St. Patrick’s Day, Ona Stewart will be playing bluegrass folk country music in the Saloon. Come on down and join in the fun!

This is your reminder the Civil War Reenactments are coming to town on March 25th and March 26th! The Knights Ferry Community Club’s annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser will be served from 5pm-8pm on Saturday, March 25th at the Clubhouse. Tickets are $10 a ticket and will include the meal, dessert, and beverage. Please come down and support the Clubhouse!

The Community Club is accepting car show entries for the Knights Ferry Classic Car Show on Main Street Knights Ferry on April 1st! Enter online at www.knightsferrycommunityclub.com or call Chris Peterson for questions or more information at 209-402-9831. This is also a reminder to those who drive large rigs including motorhomes, trucks and trailers, buses, or large vehicles that cannot take sharp turns on the narrow roads in Knights Ferry to plan an alternate route on April 1 from 6am-3pm. The traffic volunteers will redirect regular traffic down the narrow side roads of Knights Ferry!
