Welcome baby, Cooper Cole! Kevin and Audrey Cole welcomed a sweet baby boy, Cooper on February 9th at 9:59pm at Memorial Hospital. Cooper weighed 8.3 pounds and was 21 inches tall at birth. Audrey is the daughter of Jim and Patti Mack and graduated from Knights Ferry School. Additionally, she holds a special spot in my heart because she was one of our main babysitters for our youngest children! Mom and baby are healthy and made it home just in time for his first Super Bowl!

Gayle Lund, former resident of Knights Ferry, passed away due to a heart attack on January 28th in her home in Ripon, Ca. While she lived in Knights Ferry, Gayle was President of the Garden Club for six years and organized the Pumpkin Roll baking schedules. Gayle and her late husband, Larry were active members in the Knights Ferry Community Club and the Knights Ferry Museum and Associates. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Veterans Hall in Pleasanton on March 3rd at 1pm.

March will be a busy month for Knights Ferry. The Parent Teacher Club is hosting the Dinner and Auction fundraiser benefiting Knights Ferry School on March 9th. For tickets, donations, and more information contact Carli at (209) 480-9828. Tickets are $60 per person and include a full dinner, dessert, and a variety of drinks!

Then the Civil War Reenactments will be here March 22nd-24th with the Community Club Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser on Saturday, March 23rd.
