Happy New Year’s! It was a peaceful weekend in Knights Ferry to welcome the New Year.

The Knights Ferry school will be back in session this week so be sure to watch out for the kids trekking up and down the hill to school!

The New Year has brought a few changes in our community. Knights Ferry School will be without Mrs. Natalie Brockman and the Army Corp of Engineers in Knights Ferry will be without Mrs. Lisa Dolling. Both ladies have dedicated countless hours to the school and the Army Corp of Engineers and it feels bittersweet to see them close one door and open another!

Last week our local water plant was experiencing some issues and those who were able to fix the problem were snowed in up the hill. Our volunteer water board did their best to notify the community to conserve water as the water plant was working overtime to supply our town. As of Sunday, the water plant is up and running at normal strength!

The Community Club is expecting the Sheriff of Stanislaus at their next meeting on Thursday, January 6 at 6:30pm. This is a great opportunity to get to know our local authorities and to ask relevant questions!
