Superintendent Picks Narrowed

The Oakdale Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees has narrowed the field of Superintendent candidates to seven to be slated for interviews on April 1-2. This was decided in an action in a closed session meeting held March 28.

If necessary, the board will call back the final two selections for final interviews on the afternoon of April 2. From there, if the board chooses, they may make a visit to the school district where their final choice currently serves. Once the decision is made, the board president will then be authorized to offer a contract within certain parameters.

An announcement of the new OJUSD Superintendent is expected by the April 11 regular meeting of the Board of Trustees.
