In a combined effort, members of the Fair Oaks, Sierra View, Cloverland, and Magnolia elementary schools’ parent teacher association and clubs have formed a group called Campsavers to raise money for sixth grade Outdoor Education.

Campsavers are conducting a Marie Callenders pie fundraiser that runs now through Friday, Nov. 5. Pies are $12 each, and Campsavers will receive a little over $4 per pie.

Individuals may order the pies from any fifth or sixth grader in their neighborhood, go to any of the four elementary schools and order in the office, or call Campsavers members Kim Vierra at 847-7909 or Michelle Kendig at 848-4518. Payment is due at the time of the order.

The students will pick up the pies on Tuesday, Nov. 23 and then distribute them to those who have ordered.

“They can purchase a pie for Thanksgiving and help out our kids at the same time,” Kendig said.

Pie flavors available are Apple, Cherry, Berry, Peach, French Apple, Pumpkin, Lemon Meringue, Razzleberry, and Mince.
