Relay Kickoff Slated

The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life is anticipating an in person event for the area in October, 2021. Modesto, Turlock and the Oakdale-Escalon-Riverbank-Waterford relays have joined together to form the Relay For Life of Greater Stanislaus County and the kickoff event will be virtual on Wednesday, April 21 at 6 p.m.

Plans are for a 24-hour, in person Relay For Life in early October, being hosted at John Thurman Field in Modesto.

Weight Loss Support

Members of the local TOPS, Taking Off Pounds Sensibly, weight loss peer support group are once again meeting on Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
