David William Nyenhuis and Bryanna Jane Kamper have announced their plans to wed.

The couple became engaged earlier this year at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan. David proposed after a ride in a horse drawn carriage. A wedding date of Sept. 4, 2010 has been set. The ceremony will be hosted at the Sierra Glen Apple Ranch in Sonora. There will also be an Aug. 14 celebration in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bryan and Rosemary Kamper. She is the sister of Myron and RosaLee Kamper. She is a 2006 graduate of Ripon Christian. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and will be attending Loma Lindas School of Public Health for her M.A. She is currently employed as a Fitness Assistant and Specialist at East Hills Athletic Club in Grand Rapids.

The prospective groom is the son of Jack and Jane Nyenhuis. He is the brother of Chad Nyenhuis, Holly Kruis and Cara Stevens. He is a 2005 graduate of Unity Christian Schools and a 2010 graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He will continue his education at University of California, Irvine pursuing a Masters Degree in Engineering. He is currently employed with Broadview Products Design in Zeeland, Michigan as an Engineer.
