Nick Ahrendt and Cherice Valdez of Oakdale welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Julianna Renee Valdez-Ahrendt, on July 31, 2012.

The newborn weighed seven pounds, five ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home was sister Dezeriee Giavanna Valdez.

Deseriee Renee Valdez of Oakdale is the maternal grandmother.

Ronald Ahrendt of Vallejo is the paternal grandfather.
