A girl, Joslin Grace Rodriguez, was born October 1, 2009 to expectant parents Samuel Rodriguez and Jasmine Cuevas of Oakdale. The newborn weighed seven pounds, nine ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home was older brother Samuel Rodriguez.

Angel and Josephine Cuevas of Manteca are the maternal grandparents.

Carmello and Clara Rodriguez of Oakdale are paternal grandparents.
