A boy, Hunter Garrett Joseph Morrill, was born Oct. 29, 2011 to expectant parents Ryan and Melissa Morrill of Oakdale. The newborn weighed eight pounds, four ounces upon arrival at Kaiser Hospital, Modesto.
The mother is the former Melissa McCord.
Gary and Marie McCord of Modesto are the maternal grandparents. Great grandmothers are Evelyn McCord of Modesto and Marie Johnson of Hayward.
Jeff and Cathy Pilgrim of Escalon and Glenn Morrill of Escalon are paternal grandparents. Great grandparents are Tom and Barbara Powell of Newman and Pearl Morrill of Escalon.
