A boy, Carter Vincent Allison, was born June 27, 2012 to expectant parents Daniel Allison and Stephanie Walters of Oakdale.

The newborn weighed seven pounds, six ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home was big brother, Daniel Allison Jr. Wana and Michael Olivarez of Salida are the maternal grandparents.

Ronald and Vickie Mummert of Oakdale are the paternal grandparents.
