With the latest developments surrounding COVID-19, the Oakdale High School Sports Boosters Club announced they will reschedule their annual OHS Sports Boosters Club Dinner, Dance and Auction. Originally scheduled for Saturday, March 21, the club has postponed the event until this summer.

On Friday, March 13 Boosters President Antoinette Rodin said: “We are going to do everything we can to make sure we have this event. We want to stay in compliance with CDC and also make sure the safety of our supporters, friends and family are safe as well.”

Friday afternoon Rodin said that the event would be rescheduled for Aug. 8, 2020 at the FES Hall. She also said that if you already purchased tickets for the event, to use that one for entry even with the old date on it. However, if you cannot make it to the new date, your money will be refunded to you upon request. Tickets can still be purchased through any booster member. Tickets are $75 each and it includes dinner from House of Beef and open bar provided by H-B. Proceeds of the evening benefit uniforms and equipment needed for Oakdale High School sports.

The OHS Sports Boosters are in need of sponsors for the event and there will be four sponsorship opportunities. Those are: Colt ($250), Pony ($500), Mustang ($1,000) and Golden Mustang ($5,000). Since 2007 the boosters have raised $850,000 to provide for various athletic programs at the school. Scholarships are also created through this event.
