Dear Editor,

The Oakdale Citizens’ Cemetery management and its board of directors would like to thank everyone involved in last weeks clean up effort (May 23) of the cemetery grounds.

Thank you to Ted Gilton for his donation of a construction bin. He has dumped it many times for us now, at no charge. Thanks so much!

Thanks to the clean up efforts of Oakdale Garden Club, Cooley’s Custom Pools and the Cooley family, Roxanne Razo of Electric Beach, our board members and their families: the Medinas, the Fogartys, the Abshers, the Ryuns, Hector Eriksen and Guy Miceli and our Caretaker Rudy Maes.

Special thanks to Mike Cooper and Living Hope Christian Fellowship.

There are no words for how grateful we are for your efforts. We’ve had so many compliments over the last few days, as well as so many comments from people who happened to drive by and see the crowd and the results of all of your hard work.

A Beautiful Day has started out in a beautiful way, and we can’t wait to see how many ways your efforts help our community in the future! Thank you so much for allowing our cemetery to be you first project. Come back anytime!

Sincerely,

Antoinette Ryun, Manager

Oakdale Citizens’ Cemetery Board of Directors
