Sandy passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on

Thursday, December 4th in Oakdale, Ca. She was born on April 18th, 1952 to Florence and Otis Owens of Wisconsin. Sandy leaves behind her beloved husband Pier, Children Tammie Lemm (Anthony) of Vacaville, Michelle Schurer-Mosley (Harold) of Modesto, Thys Schurer (Tamara) of Riverbank, Pier Hendrik Schurer (Christine) of Modesto, and Son in Law Wayne Lemm of Isleton. Sandy also leaves behind her Grand Children Kasondra, Kirstin, Thys Jr. and Austin. Her mother, sister Karen Owens, and brother David Owens. She was preceded in death by her father, father in law Hank Schurer, and grandson Wyatt Schurer.

 A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 11am at Sierra Foothills Community Church, 1040 West F Street in Oakdale, California. A reception will be held following the celebration. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sierra Foothills Community Church.
