Muriel Lee Hill, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, has passed at 80 years of age. Muriel was born in Modesto, CA to Fred and Stella Jeffers and raised in Oakdale with her two brothers Ron Jeffers from Sacramento, and preceded in death by Bill Jeffers. She is survived by her three children David Hill (Roslyn), Vivian Kalik and Vicki Mutoza (Jon). Muriel has six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren which she so loved and adored. Muriel worked for over 25 years at the Gallo Glass Factory, and once retired worked for an additional 10 years at Rale’s in Oakdale. She loved her customers and was energized by making friends with the regulars, up until she left this position three years ago. Oakdale will miss the impact she brought with her smiles and grace.

Viewing will take place on Tuesday, November 29 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Oakdale Memorial Chapel, 830 W. F St., Oakdale, with services on Wednesday, November 30 at 1 p.m. with graveside services to follow at Acacia Memorial Park, 801 Scenic Dr., Modesto. Reception will be held at 4 p.m. at Bachi’s Family Diner (H-B), 401 E. F St., Oakdale.
