Mark Booth, 84, died Monday, May 25 in Tahlequah, OK.
Born on Aug. 30, 1924 in Tahlequah, OK, he was a farmer all of his life. He enjoyed everything that came about with farming such as plowing the garden, tending to the livestock and especially harvesting from the garden what his hard work provided. He also loved to fish and probably would have rather been fishing some of those times he was plowing.
He touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie (Floyd) Mathis of Oakdale and Mary Jean Gentry of Tahlequah, OK; sons, Mark Eugene (Irene) Booth of Tulsa, OK and Virgil Wayne Booth of Tahlequah, OK; sister, Bernice Drywater of Tahlequah, OK; eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Oma Booth; daughter, Geneva Booth; his parents, Cicero and Mary Effie (Pike) Booth; brothers, Ed Booth, Don Booth, James Dawson, and Denzil Dawson; sisters, Hazel Jones and Evie Dawson; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held May 30 at the Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dennis Fine officiating. Interment followed at the Ross Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK.
