Mario Manuel Rodrigues, 70, died Sunday, Dec. 27 at his Oakdale home.

He was a native of the Azores. He lived in Oakdale for six years.

Mr. Rodrigues was an auto salesman for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Josefina Rodrigues of Oakdale; children, Nelson Rodrigues of Rocklin, Melanie Sousa and Mark Rodrigues, both of Oakdale; sisters, Noelia Almeida of Redwood City, Lucil Buell of Aptos, Natalia Silva of Morgan Hill, Odilia Mendoza of San Jose, Alda Silveira of Hollister; brothers, Ermilindo Rodrigues of Santa Clara, Leo Rodrigues of San Martin; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. Rosary will be at 6 p.m., also on Dec. 30, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, at the church. Burial will be at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery.
