Larry Howard, 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Melodie Howard of 53 years, his parents L.V. and Orene Howard and sister Linda Howard Darner. He is survived by his brother Lane Howard. Larry also leaves behind his loving daughters, Tiffanee Howard and Camaron Keyes; his grandchildren, Shayna Garcia, Jacob Garcia, Callie Keyes-Bell (Joel) and Andrew Keyes. Great-grandchildren, Christian and Quinten Soliz and Brody Bell.
Larry retired from A.L. Gilbert Co after 45 years of hard work and dedication. The last of a true Company man. He enjoyed classic cars and hunting. But most of all just staying home and enjoying his family and pets.
A Celebration of Life is being held at the Oakdale Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. Per the family’s wishes, there will be no reception following the Celebration. In lieu of flowers, you can send donations to the Stanislaus County K9 Association or the Alexander Cohen Hospice House, where his loving wife was called home, or your favorite charity.
