Frank Bowen, born on July 20, 1943 in Oakdale, California, went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 75 on October 3, 2018 in Santa Rosa, California.

Frank grew up in Oakdale and graduated from Oakdale High School and Modesto Junior College. He went on to graduate from California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo with a Masters Degree. From there he went on to teach Agricultural classes at Orange High School in Orange, California. He retired from Orange High School in 1998. He was very actively involved with the Future Farmers of America during his teaching career and even after he retired. Upon his retirement to Lake County, California, he continued to be a substitute teacher in Lake County schools.

Preceded in death by his parents Leona Brown Bowen and Raymond Leroy Bowen as well as his sister Barbra Nelson, he is survived by his wife of 13 years, Donna. He is also survived by his son, Jeff Bowen, granddaughter Paityn, and grandson Chase Bowen. He is also survived by his sisters, Frances Armstrong and Rose Marie Blackwell of Clearlake Oaks, California, as well as stepdaughters, stepsons and their children and many nieces and nephews.

Since his retirement he has been actively involved with First Baptist Church of Clearlake and was ordained and served as a deacon for many years.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Clearlake on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at 4 p.m.
