Doris Constance (Triantos) Rubiales, 97, died peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Tranquility Living Center, Oakdale.

She was born in San Francisco, the daughter of Tom and Constandina Triantos. She grew up in San Francisco, where she graduated from Commerce High School.

She lived in the Bay Area for many years where she met and married her husband, Frank Rubiales, and raised two daughters, Joyce (Rubiales) Burke, and Phyllis (Rubiales) Harrison. Mrs. Rubiales owned and operated a restaurant in San Francisco for several years and managed a hardware store in Daly City. She moved to Oakdale in 2000. She resided at Tranquility Living Center since January 2012.

Always a fun and feisty lady who loved to dance, she was consistently said to be the “life of the party.”

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

She is survived by her grandsons, Frank (Michelle) Burke, Ryan (Andrea) Harrison, Deven Harrison; great-grandchildren, Chaz Bandy, Danielle Burke Merritt, Kaitlin Burke, Jocelyn Burke, Olivia Harrison; and great-great grandchildren, Makena Merritt, Peyton Bandy, John Merritt, and Carson Merritt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; daughters, Joyce and Phyllis; sisters, Lucy Malandaros, Angelina Triantos, Sophie Triantos, and brother, Nick Triantos.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 at the Gene Bianchi Community Center, 110 S. Second Ave., Oakdale.
