Don Crandell (our wonderful Dad, Husband, Grandpops, Pops, Uncle, Father-in-law and friend) went to be with the Lord on Sept 23, 2021. Don Crandell is survived by his wife - Melody Crandell, son - Donny Crandell Jr., daughter - Shawna Crandell, two awesome grandsons - Zach Crandell and Kyson Crandell, and daughter-in-laws Tilisa Crandell and Holly Craig and a host of other relatives.
Don was born in 1941 in Clayton, Oklahoma. Don and Melody celebrated 59 years of marriage on Sept 1, 2021. Don and his family celebrated his 80th birthday in March of this year. Don was known as a man who was easy-going, loved his family, hard to beat at Texas hold ‘em, loved fishing, and enjoyed trying to beat Melody at dominoes. Don loved the Lord and taught through most of the books in the New Testament. He left a legacy of goodness and generosity. He loved Mom’s cooking, watching Westerns (Gunsmoke), and listening to the oldies on the radio. Don worked at Marathon, paper packaging company in Modesto for 30 years. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
