David Charles Sanders, 83 years of age, passed away on December 5, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson disease.

David was born on October 8, 1939 to Marjorie and William (Bill) Sanders in Modesto, CA. He graduated Oakdale High School in 1958. Upon graduation he served in the California National Guard.

In 1964, David married Delphia Jones, they went on to have two children, Diana and Jeffrey.

For 32 years he was employed as a mechanic for Hunt Wesson Foods in Oakdale. In 2001 he retired from Hunt’s.

He is survived by his wife Delphia, daughter Diana (Rick) Crofts and son Jeffrey (Joanna) Sanders. Three grandchildren, Jenna and Jessica Sanders and Colby Crofts, sisters Joan Jones of Las Vegas, Nevada, Marylin Allen of Hickman and brother William (Billy) Sanders of Springfield, Missouri.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 11, 2023 at 11 a.m., at the Knights Ferry Community Hall.  Please join us to share stories, laughs, and enjoy each other’s company as we celebrate the life of Dave Sanders.
