BEVERLY LEE WEBB
June 17, 1931 – Dec. 19, 2023
Beverly Webb obit

Beverly was born in Modesto, California on June 17, 1931 to Arthur and Minnie Lee Willson and raised in Empire. She married Edward Webb in April of 1951. They were married for 65 years. In 1961, Beverly and Edward moved with all five of their children to Oakdale where she spent the next 62 years of her life. For the first 15 years the family lived on a small ranch where they raised chickens and grew almonds. After they moved to town, Beverly worked at the Oakdale Chocolate Factory.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Edward and daughter-in-law Michelle. She leaves behind her children: Art (Belinda), Brad, Sid (Patty), and daughters Barbara (Ty) and Carol. Eleven grandchildren: Kristen, Cortney (Op), Jon (Melody), Erin (Will), Andrew (Katrina), Matthew, Louise, Lorraine, Andrea, Spencer (Camelia), and Vincent and great grandchildren: Jameson, Jackson, Pierson, Aubrey, Camryn, Kathryn, Emily, Charlotte, Noah and (in just a few days) Everly.

Family and education were at the core of Beverly’s life. She raised her five children with love and instilled in them a passion for learning. Beverly and her husband worked diligently to ensure all their children received college degrees. There were an astounding 17 educators in her family, ranging from teachers, administrators, to counselors. Each one is carrying on Beverly’s legacy of valuing knowledge. Beverly and Edward also supported the family’s passion for sports. The Webb’s were inducted into the Oakdale Sports Hall of Fame.

Beverly had many talents. Besides being a great cook, she was a skilled seamstress. Her quilting skills were equally remarkable. Every quilt was a work of art! Beverly enjoyed reading. Her curiosity about the world and its affairs had no bounds.

Her motto in life was “God and Family,” and she lived it every day. Always thinking of others first, she had a kind and genuine soul! Her life taught us the value of lifelong learning, hard work, humility, and family bonds.

There will be a private family service at Lakewood cemetery.
