Beverly M. Graff, 96, died Tuesday, Nov. 12.

She was born in Spokane, Wash. and attended schools there. She graduated with a B.A. degree in teaching from Washington State University, Pullman, Wash.

Mrs. Graff lived in Oakdale for 67 years. She came to Oakdale in 1946 with her husband Dr. Virgil E. Graff who joined Dr. Howard Jenssen in a veterinary practice in Oakdale.

She was a member of St Mary’s Parish and the Young Ladies Institute of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was also a Pink Lady volunteer at Oak Valley Hospital and a charter member of the Oakdale Golf and Country Club. She loved playing bridge and attending plays at The Sonora Theater with her close friends.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Gwen) Graff, Marilyn (Ken) Westervelt; grandchildren, Leigh (John) Graff, Jeffrey (Kristen) Graff, Valerie (Jonnie) Moore, and Kevin (Jessica) Westervelt; and great-grandchildren, Justin and Alexis Graff.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil.

Viewing was held Nov. 18, and a graveside service was on Nov. 19 at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery.
